I picked up a copy of a picture book called Melinda when I was at the World Fantasy Convention. It was a short story or poem, depending on your perspective, by Neil Gaiman, and while reading it, this melody just came into my head. So, here it is. Lyrics by Neil Gaiman and music by me. This is just a quick recording, I want to make a better one some day, but I thought it would be nice to share for Christmas. I hope you like it!

It’s been a while since I’ve given you guys any music. I wrote this on Wednesday and brought it straight to my band practice on Thursday to try out. Here it’s featuring Robin on acoustic guitar and Steve on bass, but this isn’t what I mean it to sound like in the end. I’m feeling a grungy sort of vibe on it, a bit Nirvana, Alice in Chains, if you know what I mean.
