Maia the Opera Singer

More for my own amusement than anything else, here are a few recordings from upper secondary school, back when I wanted to be an opera singer. Have fun!

Let’s start with some semi-contemporary Norwegian music. Sparre-Olsen:

Svik

Kvendelagnad

On to just a bit of Mozart:

Bei Männern Wälche Liebe Fühlen

The Queen of the Night

And, just to emphasise on how terrible my German is, here’s a little bit of Kurt Weill:

Barbara Song

I think I’ve got a couple more on my other computer; I might upload them later, if I find them. I couldn’t tell you who plays piano on all of these because it was such a long time ago, but my partner in song on Bei Männern Wälche Liebe Fühlen (I think I spelled that right) was the wonderful Kim Wigaard Johansen.
